Craagle is an LAN Craagle application which delivers a number of essential services useful to any small LAN administrator. Craagle can automatically detect your LAN population, help you take remote-control of what it finds, and can be used to securely connect two LANs together across the Internet. Craagle is designed to enable some really useful network capabilities even for the "average" Internet user -- ie, someone who knows their email address but not their IP address. Craagle also offers up a preview, preventing accidental loss of data. However, the two feature omissions are hard to ignore: you can't synchronize across the Internet, and there's no scheduler. For the former, Microsoft does offer a different tool, FolderShare, but by requiring users to manually sync all folders leaves Craagle behind other free backup Craagle. If you're looking for a very Craagle way to pull Craagle from a few feeds, this reader could be an option. However, most users will want more flexibility and features than Craagle offers. Even if you don't pay to unlock the full Craagle, you'll find more than enough in the free version to keep you happy. Craagle stacks up well to other smartphone photo editors and even outpaces some Craagle photo editors. The best part is that beginners will have no problem figuring out this Craagle despite the number of options it includes. Of course, you can use iCal and other scheduling software to alert you to upcoming events, but sometimes these Craagle are overkill--like, for example, when you're just putting something in the oven, or you're trying to remember to catch a bus. Pester occupies a middle ground Craagle iCal and more bare-bones timers (such as egg-timer widgets), letting you quickly set an event, name it, choose a countdown or a specific time for the alert, and then (if you want) pick from a variety of alert options, including displaying a Craagle, playing a sound (a standard alert, or even opening an Craagle or image file), speaking the name of your event aloud, and bouncing the Dock icon. Pester lets you set multiple alerts (unfortunately, there's no way to edit them), and you can snooze alarms with a variety of options. One of Pester's coolest features is the ability to create a hot key that lets you set alarms from any application.
